Will my vehicle be ticketed if I don’t have a permit?

Answer: Affiliates are subject to the same parking regulations as other members of the University community. Vehicles may be cited, immobilized or towed for policy violations.

Must Vendors/Contractors register for a parking permit?

Answer: To park legally on campus, contractors and vendors must obtain a valid UGA parking permit, park within the area designated

When must I pay for my Vendor/Contractor parking permit?

Answer: Permits must be paid for in full at the time of issuance.

What is the cost and how long are Vendors/Contractors parking permits valid?

Answer: The cost is $720 for 12 months and is prorated throughout the year.

Can arrangements be made for additional parking on campus when extra contractors are required?

Answer: Contractors may also make prior arrangements to park personal and company vehicles in remote lots and shuttle their employees to the job site.

What type of permit is available for Vendors?

Answer: Vendors may purchase an all access permit with Parking Services management approval.

I am a Contractor for a small project that is expected to last 2 months. Do I have to purchase a 12 month permit?

Answer: Yes, Contractors must purchase a Multi Access permit at a rate of $720 per year which allows them access to all lots on campus. This rate is prorated throughout the year, and contractors are entitled to a refund if permits returned early.
