Are there any parking spaces at the Visitors Center?
Answer: For access to the Visitors Center, visitors
may park in the adjacent parking lot and obtain a parking pass inside the center.
Please ensure that you display the visitors pass in your vehicle. Additional visitor
parking is available in pay-per-hour lots and parking decks around campus. The Visitors
Center staff will be happy to show you the parking area closest to your destination.

Are there any visitor pay lots/decks on campus?
Answer: Yes, Pay by the hour facilities are located
in the North Deck, Tate Center Deck, South Deck, Carlton Street Deck, Hull Street
Deck, and East Deck for short term parking. Pay boxes are also located in the CCRC
Lot (E15), River’s Crossing Lot (E13), Family Housing Lots (S18, S19, &
S24). Legion Pool Lot (W06) is applicable only during pool operations.
Where should visitors park?
Answer: Depending on the area you are visiting, pay
by the hour facilities are located in the North Deck, Tate Center Deck, South Deck,
Carlton Street Deck, Hull Street Deck, and East Deck pay lot for short term parking.
Pay boxes are also located in the CCRC Lot (E15), River’s Crossing Lot (E13),
Family Housing Lots (S18, S19, & S24), and the Legion Pool Lot (W06).
What are the costs of parking in a visitor location?
Answer: $4.00 for the first hour and $1.00 for each
additional hour, not to exceed $10.00 per day in pay facilities. Pay boxes are a daily fee.
If the department I am visiting offers me a visitor pass, where can I use it and
how do I use it?
Answer: A visitor pass or validation pass may be used
in the North Campus Parking Deck, Hull Street Parking Deck, South Campus Parking
Deck, Carlton Street Parking Deck, or Tate Center Parking Deck. In order to use
one of these passes, a ticket should be pulled upon entry and the ticket and the
pass should be given to the attendant upon exit.
What is Park-N-Ride?
Answer: Park-N-Ride allows you to park your car off
campus without a permit, and ride a bus to campus. Get more information at www.transit.uga.edu/.
